On the deadline day, Arsenal completed the transfer of Kieran Tierney. Arsenal already played two games in the Premier League but for now, the full-back remained sidelined. That’s why we pose the question: can the Scottish international make it at Arsenal?

Ronny Deila, former Celtic manager, is convinced the 22-year old will make it to the top. The Norwegian, now currently manager of Vålerenga, believes Tierney will climb to the top tier of the footballing world. “I am as sure as I was with Virgil van Dijk that he is going to make it,” Deila said in an interview.

Former Arsenal and West Ham legend Nigel Winterburn is also convinced that Tierney has what it takes to make it at Arsenal. In an exclusive interview, the “invincible” Winterburn said the following:

“The Premier League is the most brutal league in the world, especially for defenders, but Kieran Tierney is a sensational signing and will have no problem settling in. He is a young player who has gained huge experience at Celtic, he has also played Champions League football so will be used to the quality of football.”

The former Celtic captain didn’t make the Arsenal selection yet. But with the London team having paid £25m, the young talent should get his chance in the coming weeks. Though at the moment, it is the 33-year old Nacho Monreal who is currently being preferred by Unai Emery.
