Leigh Griffiths had a snappy answer to a Hearts fan trying to put one over on him on twitter.
The striker missed Celtic’s 3-1 win over Kilmarnock due to injury with Hearts celebrating their first SPFL win of the season with a 2-1 victory at Easter Road.
Griffiths has never hidden his support for Hibs but it comes a distant second to his ‘day job’ as a Celtic player.
Griffiths had two spells on loan at Hibs while playing for Wolves but joined Celtic on a permanent basis in January 2014 when Neil Lennon agreed a £1m deal- with his first goal for his new club coming at Tynecastle.
Goals against the Gorgie side have featured highly in his 100 plus Celtic goals which has saw him pick up every domestic honour, Scotland caps and scoring in the Champions League.
After missing Celtic’s last two matches through injury Neil Lennon is hoping to have the former Hibs striker available to face Partick Thistle on Wednesday- before Saturday’s trip to Easter Road.
