Leigh Griffiths looks unlikely to be in contention for tomorrow’s Betfred Cup tie against Partick Thistle.
The striker has missed Celtic’s last two matches due to a thigh strain and appears to have fallen behind Vakoun Bayo as back-up striker to Odsonne Edouard.
Griffiths missed six months of last season due to personal issues but could feature in the quarter-final tie against the side sitting at the bottom of The Championship.
???? NL: “Moritz is a doubt. We’re hoping he’ll be fit for the weekend but tomorrow could be too soon for him. Leigh Griffiths could be okay for the weekend, too.” #CELPAR

Neil Lennon will make a number of changes to the side that beat Kilmarnock 3-1 on Sunday with half an eye on Saturday’s SPFL clash with Hibs at Easter Road.
Scotland trio James Forrest, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie are likely to be rested while Craig Gordon will come in for Fraser Forster.
Celtic go into tomorrow’s match unbeaten in 28 domestic cup ties with their run of 27 straight wins halted in the last round when Dynfermline took the hoops to penalties before losing out to a late goal from James Forrest.
