It appears that Hibs fans are body-swerving their Betfred Cup semi-final against Celtic with thousands of additional tickets being handed over to hoops supporters.

Initially Celtic season ticket holders on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme were being balloted for tickets, now any Celtic season ticket holder can buy two additional tickets for the November 2 match.

Celtic were initially allocated the North and East Stands with the South Stand split between both clubs. Going by the latest announcement it appears that Celtic supporters could be filling almost all of the West Stand.

The timing of the game has come in for criticism with the 5.30pm kick off inconvenient for fans travelling from out-with the central belt.

In 2017 when the two clubs were drawn together in the semi-final of the Betfred Cup semi-final Hibs insisted on a 50% allocation. While Celtic sold their allocation quickly there were more than 10,000 empty seats inside Hampden after Hibs sold tickets for the North Stand with the empty seats in the West Stand unable to be sold due to segregation issues.
