After just three matches for the club Jeremie Frimpong has developed into a fans’ favourite at Celtic.
Last Saturday his name was trending as he enjoyed his first SPFL Premiership start, it was the same again today as he scored his first Celtic goal in the 4-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
Topping it all off he joined in fully with the post-match celebrations among the away fans then provided a fantastic post-match interview for BT Sport that was oozing with enthusiasm.
In three top team matches Frimpong has played his part in an impressive 15-0 goal difference as Celtic make progress on two fronts domestically.
The teenager wasn’t included in Celtic’s Europa League squad but if they progress into the knock-out phase then Frimpong can look forward to being involved in Europe after Christmas.
On Wednesday evening it’s back home for another home match against St Mirren as the hoops begin a run of five out of six games being on home soil.
Announce Frimpong as post match speaker for every match! Boys just buzzing to be here ?
