A concept kit on Instagram is causing alarm among Celtic fans as they wait for the release of the 24/25 home kit from Adidas.

Concept kits and ‘leaks’ are very much part of modern marketing to build up interest ahead of the official announcement.

Often a Celtic kit will be pictured in a store in North America or Asia before being shared across social media to get fans (customers) discussing the design in advance.

A year ago Celtic fans were very sceptical of the images that emerged of the intended 23/24 Adidas kit.

The introduction of black coupled with the stained glass effect wasn’t easy on the eye, at the same time a plainer than plain Heritage Kit appeared with white logos on white alongside green on green.

Fans adored the Heritage kit but it was the broken glass effort that the players wore, fans had to wait until the season got underway before they could buy the classy looking and expensive kit that the team never wore.

Adidas are entering the final year of their five year Celtic contract, once a kit appears on Footy Headlines it can be assumed that it is very likely to be genuine.

I’ve still got one from around 20 years ago and remember the furore from back then about it all…

I think that they left one hoop ‘unbroken’ on it –

Didn’t stop ‘Rangers’ fans (as they were known back then) taking the pure piss and saying to me…

“You’re no Hoopy any more” !

Mon the stripes??? Don’t think so.
Surely the club must have some say in these designs? They’ve been absolute gash.
I like adidas but their efforts have recently been utter shit. I hope the contract doesn’t get renewed if this one becomes reality.
