Eleven days after his nightmare at Almondvale Christopher Jullien has published a detailed apology to Celtic fans- and promised there will be no repeat.
The stock of the Frenchman had soared on the back of Celtic’s Europa League win over Cluj but it seemed that it was a stunt double that pulled on the hoops three days later at Livingston.
From early on in the match Lyndon Dykes had the measure of the Celtic defence with Jullien drawn into a running battle with a 24-year-old who was playing for Queen of the South six months ago.
Have to make right some things. Sorry Celtic fans for being too nervous last time, won’t happen again. And to be fair I have to thank Livingston’s forwards for that wake up call…. Either I win or I learn
Livi scored twice early in the second half with Celtic struggling to respond as they slipped to their first domestic defeat of the season.
At the weekend Jullien took a trip to London to watch some NFL action, on Saturday it’s back to the real game as Celtic host Ross County looking to take full points while sending out a message that the defeat at Livi isn’t going to be repeated any time soon.
