Lewis Morgan has had an amazing international call up- just hours before the dead-rubber against San Marino.

The winger was left out of the 22 man squad named for the international double header that began with a 4-0 hammering from Russia on Thursday but after breakfast this morning found himself required for duty for today’s 5pm kick off.

Robert Snodgrass, who replaced James Forrest against the Russian’s, has called off late in the day forcing Steve Clarke to make the late call up.

It does seem unusual that Snodgrass would call off so late in the day. Scotland flew back from Russia on Friday giving the West Ham man Friday and Saturday to declare himself unavailable.

In an article in The Sun yesterday Kris Boyd claimed that some players weren’t prepared to buy into the way that Clarke wants Scotland to play.

Less than 20,000 fans are expected at Hampden with adult ticket prices starting at £27.
