Rab Douglas starred in plenty of great European nights at Celtic Park, last night he sat back and enjoyed the atmosphere from a seat in the stand.
In the early noughties the former Scotland keeper starred in wins over Juventus, Lyon, Porto, and Anderlecht in the Champions League as well as turning in some outstanding displays on the road to Seville.

Without doubt playing in European nights is one of the main attractions to join Celtic but in recent seasons it’s been the visiting teams that have enjoyed the experience more than the home players.
That changed last night with the Lazio players leaving the pitch with that sinking feeling knowing that the 12th man in the stands had played a part in their downfall.
Two incredible saves by Fraser Forster will be talked about for years to come but the passion of the support undoubtedly played a role as Celtic found their second wind midway through the second half.
Once Ryan Christie had equalised there was a strong prospect that something special was happening, when Christopher Jullien headed home the equaliser it was the seal on another magical Celtic Park night that won’t be forgotten by anyone that witnessed it.
