Celtic have been given an additional batch of tickets for next month’s Betfred Cup Final at Hampden.

Neil Lennon’s side are looking to win the trophy for the fourth year running with around 23,000 tickets allocated to each of the competing clubs.

With around 50,000 season ticket holders thousands of fans will be left to watch on telly but for a lucky few there is the chance of getting their hands on a ticket.

The club website states:

The Club has received an additional small allocation for this match.

The deadline for the original sale was 5pm on Monday, 18th November. Those who were successful in original sale and did not purchase by this deadline are no longer eligible.

Tickets for this match have been balloted amongst those STH who meet the following criteria:-

  • Ballot amongst those STH who are on the HCTS and payment was taken by Direct Debit for home Cup matches v. Dunfermline on Aug 17, 2019 and Partick Thistle on Sept 25, 2019 and who purchased a ticket, under own client ref, for the BetFred Semi final v. Hibs on Nov 2 – AND WHO WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL IN THE ORIGINAL SALE OF TICKETS.

The issue of the Betfred Cup semi-final will be a sore one for many fans on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme.

Initially Celtic balloted supporters on the scheme with those that missed out turning to alternative means of finding a ticket.

The SPFL twice came back to Celtic with additional tickets, taking their allocation to 36,000 with a public sale after all season ticket holders had been made an offer.

Fans that are on the HCTS who got tickets for the semi-final from elsewhere will now miss out for a second time.
