Scott Brown has given his own take on his fabled confrontation with Hugh Keevins.
The veteran broadcaster is fond of telling his version of a clash with the Celtic skipper when he was covering a Scotland get together at Cameron House.
During the early days of his Celtic career Brown was a regular target for criticism as his ability and value was questioned following his £4m transfer from Hibs. Most in the media were convinced that he would follow Kevin Thompson to Ibrox.
When Brown discovered that one of his arch-critics was in the building he decided to have it out with Keevins who claims that the ‘discussion’ was around which part of Loch Lomond he was going to end up in.
According to the broadcaster it required the intervention of Paul Hartley to ensure a dry solution but in front of 3,000 Celtic fans at the Hydro last night Brown shared his version of the incident.
An evening with Scott Brown was class. The stories and the patter were amazing. Hearing about Hugh Keevins being pinned to a wall in Loch Lomand. Meeting up with Rangers reps in a car park, Bobo and being tied to a trolley and rolled down a hill at Lennoxtown.? clsss night. pic.twitter.com/2t1xLrPWWJ
