Jonny Hayes is attracting interest from Swansea and Stoke City.

The 32-year-old joined Celtic in the summer of 2017 on a four-year contract and is able to discuss a pre-contract agreement with any non-Scottish club from January.

Hayes has never been a first pick for Celtic but has been an outstanding back-up player, since Neil Lennon arrived at the club in February Hayes has put in impressive displays in the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts, scored at Ibrox and played a full part in the 2-1 win away to Lazio.

Alongwith Nir Bitton the Irishman is a reliable member of Lennon’s squad but with both contracts up at the end of the season speculation is inevitable.

The Sun reports:

SWANSEA are set to make a move to lure Jonny Hayes from Celtic. But SunSport understands Championship rivals Stoke City could foil the Swans’ pursuit of the Republic of Ireland international, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

A broken leg mid-way through his first season set back Hayes’ Celtic prospects after a £1.2m move from Aberdeen.

Last season he got the edge over Emilio Izaguirre as stand-in for Kieran Tierney, this season has been similar with Boli Bolingoli first choice and Greg Taylor vying with Hayes for a place.
