Neil Lennon started his Thursday attending mass in the Scots College in Rome, he ended it by blessing himself in front of 10,000 ecstatic Celtic fans.
At the turn of the year the Irishman was battling with a difficult dressing room at Hibs with lukewarm backing from Chief Executive Leeann Dempster.
After a brief spell out of football after departing Hibs by mutual consent he found himself back in the hottest of hot seats when Brendan Rodgers packed his bags to dedicate his life to Leicester City.

In less than nine months Lennon has captured a Treble Treble, led Celtic to a win at Ibrox in front of just 800 visiting supporters and steered the hoops into the last 32 of the Europa League thanks to the club’s first ever win on Italian soil.
Lennon called it correctly with his decision to replace the injured Boli Bolingoli with Jonny Hayes as he switched to a flexible back three or five as circumstances demanded.
Deep, deep in stoppage time Olivier Ntcham delivered the winning goal with Lennon saying thanks for whatever spiritual help he received in the Eternal City.
