Neil Lennon is hopeful of having a much stronger squad for Wednesday’s trip to Tynecastle.

A lack of wing options forced the hoops boss to switch to a 3-5-2 formation for yesterday’s win over Hibs.

That took the winning run in the SPFL to nine matches stretching back to September with four more hurdles to be faced before the January break.

Injury details at Celtic are always patchy but The Scotsman reports:

Lennon, who hopes to have missing Ryan Christie, Jonny Hayes, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Mikey Johnston back from various injuries for Wednesday’s trip to Hearts described the performance against Hibs as ‘outstanding, we should have won by more’.

There seems to be a lack of information about Hatem Abd Elhamed and Jozo Simunovic which leaves just three central defenders- Chris Jullien, Nir Bitton and Kris Ajer- available for selection.

Christie’s absence against Hibs was a surprise after he missed out on the Europa League trip to Cluj.

Lennon will give a squad update tomorrow when he faces the media to preview the match with Hearts who lost 1-0 at home to St Johnstone on Saturday.
