Lewis Morgan displayed a real instinct for scoring when he created space for the opener on a night that Neil Lennon discovered a bit more about his first team squad.
Despite making a couple of changes the French side struggled to keep Celtic at bay as the hoops clinched top place in the group with a record points tally of 13 with one match still to be played.
Celtic complete the group stage away to Cluj next week with Neil Lennon expected to rest many of his regulars.
