Olivier Ntcham could be back in the Celtic team to face Hamilton on Wednesday night.

The midfielder impressed last week against Rennes in the Europa League but dropped out of the squad entirely for Sunday’s 4-1 win against Ross County.

Much of the build-up to the League Cup Final on Sunday will surround injuries but it seems that Neil Lennon won’t be short of options in midfield.

The Evening Times reports:

He has enjoyed some great moments against Rangers during his time in Scotland; he netted a penalty in a 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final triumph two seasons ago and scored the only goal of the Premiership game at Parkhead at the start of last season.

But Ntcham, who may return in the league meeting with Hamilton tomorrow night after sitting out the Ros County game on Sunday, feels taking on and beating the Ibrox club in a cup final will top anything he has done

Tom Rogic came in for Ntcham against Ross County but both men, scorers against the Ibrox side in the past, are likely to be on the bench at Hampden on Sunday.

Left-back and centre-forward are the main areas of concern for Celtic with doubts over the fitness of Jonny Hayes, Boli Bolingoli and Odsonne Edouard.

Hayes appears to be in contention to face Hamilton but little is known about the fitness of Edouard with Lennon expected to provide an update on Tuesday as he previews the Hamilton Accies match.
