Fitness and injuries are likely to dominate Celtic’s build-up to Sunday’s League Cup Final.

Slowly but very surely it seems that players are returning to fitness with the pictures from training at Lennoxtown this morning very encouraging.

Photographers are allowed in for 15 minutes of training with Neil Lennon well aware of the message sent out from seeing Odsonne Edouard, Moi Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli strutting their stuff.

Jonny Hayes wasn’t pictured but could well have joined in training once the cameras had been put away.

The next indicator towards the cup final side will come at 6.30pm tomorrow when the team to face Hamilton is announced although only Oliver Ntcham will be added to the squad that beat Ross County on Sunday.

Between the lines Neil Lennon seems relaxed about the players currently missing, only Boli Bolingoli has been out of action for more than a fortnight with everything brewing up nicely for the first trophy of the season.

WOULD YOU EXPECT ANY OF THE GUY’S THAT MISSED SUNDAY TO FEATURE TOMORROW?

Ntcham, he has a good chance of starting. As regards Odsonne and Moi (Elyounoussi), no, so we’ll see how they are.

WHAT ABOUT BOLINGOLI?

He won’t be fit for tomorrow either.

WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT ODSONNE’S NIGGLE?

We were pretty sure that it was going to be a short term thing and maybe the rest will have done him well.

WHAT ABOUT BAYO?

He is back in training now, probably tomorrow is too soon, Jonny is back in training as well, it’s basically as you were on that one so we’re confident on that one as well.

Boli has been out since the semi-final against Hibs, he’s a bit more long term than the rest. The rest it’s basically been a week or two weeks so you don’t lose much in terms of your fitness and the cardio-vascular stuff. In terms of full physical stuff they aren’t far away at all.
