Chris Jullien and Lewis Morgan are the only starters from Celtic’s League Cup win on Sunday to survive into the starting XI away to Cluj tonight.

Nir Bitton joins the goal hero in central defence with Moritz Bauer at right-back and Boli Bolingoli on the other flank with Craig Gordon in goals.

Olivier Ntcham captains the side in central midfield alongside Scott Robertson who makes his debut. Leigh Griffiths starts his first match since August supported by Lewis Morgan, Mikey Johnston and Scott Sinclair.

Lennon left Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie, Tom Rogic, Fraser Forster and Odsonne Edouard at home ahead of a critical domestic schedule of three matches in seven days against Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen.

Back in August Celtic drew 1-1 away to Cluj before the roof fell in with the strangest performance of the season when they lost 4-3 at Celtic Park to crash out of the Champions League.

Cluj lost their Champions League play-off to Slavia Prague before losing 2-0 to Celtic in Matchday 2 of the Europa League but a point tonight or Rennes taking anything at home to Lazio will see the Romanian side join Celtic in Monday’s Round of 32 Europa League draw.

CELTIC: Gordon, Bauer, Bitton, Jullien, Bolingoli; Ntcham, Robertson; Morgan, Johnston, Sinclair; Griffiths

SUBS: Hazard, Taylor, Bayo, Ajer, Dembele, Forrest, Savoury
