Neil Lennon is expecting Celtic to complete the transfer of Ismaila Soro within the next few days.
Terms have been agreed with Bnei Yehuda and the player who is undergoing a medical in Israel.
Last week Lennon described Soro as a bull with the Ivorian expected to compete with Scott Brown and Callum McGregor for a place in central midfield.

?? NL on Ismaila Soro: “The paperwork on Sorro is still ongoing. He’s doing his medical at the minute, takes a day or two. Hopefully we can get him over here and get him cracking.”

There appeared to be a number of obstacles to be overcome at the Israeli end with claims of a sell on clause due to Gomel of Belarus and various agents apparently representing the player.
All being well Soro should be a Celtic player by the weekend and able to watch Saturday’s match at home to Ross County.
Last week Celtic completed the signing of Patryk Klimala for a fee of around £3.5m with the Soro deal taking the January spend above £5m.
Lennon has gone on record as expecting to sign two to four players this month while moving on a similar amount. Scott Sinclair has left for Preston but moves for Lewis Morgan, Jack Hendry and Eboue Kouassi still to be completed.
