Taking his tally of goals for the season to 24 there is no doubt that Odsonne Edouard is hitting top form.
The full variety of the striker’s play was on display last night at Fir Park, highlighted perfectly by his two goals.
After 10 minutes he opened the scoring, tracking a run with Calum McGregor then finishing expertly when his first effort was blocked.

The second was a thing of beauty. Sunday’s free-kick at Hamilton had fans and television viewers asking ‘how does he do that’. Normally a free kick from 20 yards out requires a blast of the ball looking for a gap in the defensive wall.
Edouard has perfected the knack, from the middle or off centre, of lifting the ball over the wall 10 yards away and under the crossbar 20 yards away. With pace!
With a seven point lead and growing goal difference advantage the title race is certainly moving in Celtic’s direction with Edouard leading the charge.
