Neil Lennon is expecting one in and one out after Celtic’s 2-1 win at Aberdeen.

Nir Bitton replaced Jozo Simunovic on the right of Celtic’s three man defence with the former Dinamo Zagreb man expected to be available for Thursday’s Europa League tie away to Copenhagen.

Jonny Hayes had to replace Greg Taylor after just 25 minutes with the former Kilmarnock defender a doubt for Thursday’s match.

Updating the injury situation Lennon told the Daily Record:

He (Taylor) felt a twinge in his hamstring. He felt he could maybe play on but was worried he might rip it if he did. We will assess him over the next couple of days but hopefully it’s not too bad.

It’s difficult for Jozo to play three games in a week so we are hopeful he will be alright for Thursday.

Jeremie Frimpong was on the bench today and will come into consideration for Thursday’s match, particularly if Lennon decides to switch to a back four.

During the first four group stage matches in the Europa League Celtic started with same XI in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

As well as Taylor, Leigh Griffiths and Olivier Ntcham were substituted today but both moves were tactical.

On Friday Copenhagen played their first domestic match following the winter break, losing 1-0 away to Esbjerg.
