Sky Sports appear to be making moves to heal their rift with Celtic.

The broadcaster was barred from attending Tuesday’s pre-match media conference for the 5-0 win over Hearts and barely previewed the fixture.

Following Celtic’s emphatic win the Sky Sports website has extensive coverage of the match under the headline of ‘Celtic 5-0 Hearts: Neil Lennon’s side move 10 points clear at top of table’.

Their main report is taken from the Press Association but includes tweets from Celtic’s official account and a ‘What’s next’ feature which covers Sunday’s live match at Pittodrie.

Last week Celtic issued two statements relating to the translation of an interview with Alfredo Morelos, Sky apologised in reply to the first statement but haven’t made any comment after a complaint went to Ofcom.

Part of the broadcasting deal with the SPFL provides for an exclusive interview with a competing player from each side which would be filmed today or tomorrow.

Sky’s coverage of Sunday’s match starts at 11.30 with the deal giving them a pre-match interview with both managers. It’s unclear of Celtic will oblige with the terms of the SPFL contract.

On Tuesday night Sky Sports provided just 15 minutes of a preview for the Hamilton v Aberdeen match with Kris Boyd the sole pundit. Last night BT Sport were broadcasting for an hour before kick off from Kilmarnock with Kevin Thompson, Alex Rae, Stephen Craigan and Chris Sutton discussing the issues of the day.
