Furious Ibrox fans turned on their players at the final whistle of today’s Scottish Cup exit to Hearts at Tynecastle.

One Hearts fan took a video of the scenes as some of the 3,000 visiting fans made the players aware of exactly how they felt.

On Wednesday night everything in the world was hunky-dory as Braga were knocked out of the Europa Cup but it was a very different situation today.

Apart from two off target headers from George Edmondson and a shot from £7m star Ryan Kent the Ibrox side barely posed a threat to the side at the bottom of the SPFL Premiership.

Hearts had dominated the first half but were denied a clear penalty when Steven McLean decided not to award a penalty when Edmondson pushed the ball for a corner with his hand.

Shortly before the hour mark Lewis Moore pounced onto a header from James Tavernier, rounded Allan McGregor then squared the ball to Oliver Bozanic who netted from eight yards out.

Steven Naismith should have put the tie out of reach when presented with a one-on-one in the 75th minute but despite four minutes of added time there was no equaliser for the Ibrox fans to celebrate.
