Graham Roberts has shifted his prediction that ‘they won’t get 9’ over to ‘they won’t get 10’ as he tries to offer reassurance to Ibrox supporters.

Since the events of 2012 there hasn’t been a single voice of reason from within Ibrox trying to spell out to supporters that there is a level playing field now in place. The days of tax scams are over with Celtic a bigger and richer club by every measurement.

Despite having a manager that has won multiple titles, despite having a bigger stadium and at least twice the income it seems that something in the Ibrox mindset just can’t face up to the modern reality.
Winning the December Glasgow derby sent expectations sky high but within two months of that breakthrough the gap between the two clubs had been extended to double figures.
