Neil Lennon has revealed that Celtic hold a Coronavirus briefing every morning.

Football matches in Italy and Switzerland have been played behind closed doors to prevent the virus spreading with two of the Six Nations rugby international matches being postponed this weekend.

Celtic Park will host close to 60,000 fans for tomorrow’s home match against St Mirren but discussions have taken place between the football authorities and Scottish government to deal with a spread of the virus.

Scottish football is in the unique position that the split after 33 matches provides some sort of early conclusion to the SPFL season.

Five rounds of fixtures are still to be arranged but if Celtic continue their current form the destiny of the title could be almost decided by the time the final fixtures begin.

After a frantic run of fixtures Celtic have no more scheduled midweek matches until the end of the season.
