Steven Gerrard has rattled through manager-speak Bingo at today’s media conference.
Wednesday’s home defeat from Hamilton Accies was apparently the lowest point of his managerial career with Ibrox fans baying for blood in the closing stages.
Since the turn of the year Gerrard’s side has shipped 11 points more than Celtic while crashing out of the Scottish Cup.
Back-to-back defeats from the teams bottom of the SPFL has led to fans questioning the ability of their manager but Gerrard breezed through his broadcast media conference without adding anything original or meaningful.

First up from the Ibrox twitter feed Gerrard came up with ‘Obviously we were hurting’
Soon after it was ‘we have to stick together and go get a result at the weekend’.
After that it was time for ‘The players in that dressing room are all trying to improve and grow’.
He then added ‘I like a battle and I am game for a battle. Long-term we will look on this and be determined not to drop back to this moment.
The rookie boss then turned to an old favourite with ‘Nobody is hurting more than me’.
During the conference Gerrard said ‘of course’ a number of times and praised Connor Goldson for owning up and apologising for his mistake that led to the Hamilton Accies goal.
