A 40 second video has reminded Celtic fans of just how far their stadium has come in the last 25 years.

In the summer of 1994 the bulldozers moved in to sweep away three large terraces, parts of the stadium that supporters had grown up on watching generations of players from their preferred spots.

Only the Main Stand stood intact, it was business as normal while all around was turned into a building site as work went on to build the North Stand from the rubble of The Jungle.

A familiar feature of the east end had been demolished but in it’s place rose an addition to the skyline with the North Stand twice the height of the Main Stand which had been rebuilt in 1971.

By July 1995 the new stand was completed, season tickets purchased as Tommy Burns’ side returned home to face Newcastle United in a friendly with the Scottish Cup to show from their season at Hampden.

Over the next couple of years stands were built behind the goals, the Celtic Way constructed with Disco Lights added but whatever happens it will still be Paradise for thousands around the world.
