Celtic fans didn’t miss David Tanner as he tried to bring the hoops into one of his big conspiracy theories.
The former Sky Sports Anchor-Man has been desperately trying to find his niche after his contract wasn’t renewed by the satellite broadcaster.
With most avenues closing in his face Tanner is trying to reinvent himself as a personality to suit the TalkSPORT mindset, stir up controversy at every turn and consider the facts and consequences.
Playing to the Ibrox gallery is something that comes easily to Tanner but with less than 9,000 Twitter followers he has to go overboard to gain attention.
The logical stance in any other country would be to question the club making the claims that has been sitting for 18 days on the dossier from their whistle-blower.
Rather than concentrate on that angle Tanner would rather attempt to give credibility to the darkest of conspiracies.
Celtic won’t be playing any friendlies next season at Dens Park.
What Murdoch actually said was that they weren’t offered a sweetener by the #SPFL.
