Lee Naylor has recalled how Scott Brown and Chris Killen hit the town with Ronaldinho after a Champions League match in the Nou Camp.
In March 2008 the hoops lost 1-0 to Barcelona to go out of the Champions League at the last 16 stage on a 4-2 aggregate.
It had been a damage limitation exercise for Gordon Strachan’s side, the first leg had been a thriller but it was a damp squib in the return match but it seems that the bhoy from Fife struck up a relationship with the famous Brazilian who recently spent his 40th birthday in a jail cell in Paraguay!

Picking up on Naylor’s Open Goal interview, The Sun reports:
Once we got back to the hotel and stuff like that he wouldn’t mind us having a few in the lobby but most of the lads didn’t stick to the lobby.
They would be down drainpipes outside and things like that. I remember one time, it must have been Barcelona away.
Kipper [Killen] and Browny, everyone is sitting in the lobby and you see these two lads in white jeans and a white top, screaming down the bleeding exit stairs.
Looking around, creeping, but everyone could see them. It was ‘Oh what is going on here, it is all going off’. They were partying with bleeding Ronaldinho out in Barcelona.”
At the end of the season Brown and Killen were both celebrating as Celtic won the title on an emotional Thursday night at Tannadice.
Barcelona beat Schalke 04 to reach the semi-final of the Champions League but lost out on a final place to Manchester United on a 1-0 aggregate.
