Scott Brown and Leigh Griffiths have been reliving the classic goal at Pittodrie in 2015 as Celtic reminded Aberdeen what it takes to be champions.
Derek McInnes’ side had provided the main challenge to Celtic that season with the May 10 clash at Pittodrie more of a grudge match than a dead rubber.
A home win would have been a point proved for the Dons but players like Griffiths and Brown don’t really know how to cruise through in anything less than top gear.
You get pies, I got a ball rocketed at me. Luckily my touch was spot on ?? https://t.co/NXC79U8ukh

Early in the second half Scott Brown put in a typically whole hearted tackle at the edge of the Celtic penalty area.
Moments later he was sliding into the Dons six-yard box to bundle home a low cross from Stuart Armstrong. In-between Griffiths had played a key link up role and was hovering around waiting for a return pass from Armstrong.
After the match the Celtic players celebrated as if it was the match that had clinched the title- five years later Brown and Griffiths are just as hungry and looking to add their 2019/20 Premiership winners’ medals.
