Tom English just can’t let go, whatever happens in the world he traces it all back to the evil Chief Executive of the Scottish Professional Football League.
For over a month BBC Scotland have handed the airwaves over to their chief sports writer to drive a crusade against Neil Doncaster and his employers.
On twitter the rugger loving expert has made himself a laughing stock, well even more of a laughing stock.
Yesterday the curtain fell down on BT Sport’s coverage of Scottish football, a commercial operation that doesn’t drain the public purse through the licence (BBC) fee/tax.
Across sport it is acknowledged that BT Sport has did Scottish football a great service. The coverage has been professional, full on. The issues have been debated and discussed by pundits and presenters that have an interest.
Eilidh Barbour of Sky Sports was one presenter that appreciated the work of her competitors, English however had another agenda.
They’ve provided great entertainment on BT. Covered the games really well, despite what Neil Doncaster said. Good luck to all https://t.co/On4uulxAXy

Since Scot Gardiner of Inverness Caley Thistle joined Sportsound on April 11 English has been a man possessed as he tried to find his first football exclusive to bring down the SPFL.
Even after Doncaster joined Sportsound to explain the difference between an advance and a loan he refused to give up, soon after that interview ended he claimed to have received a text message from an SPFL chief executive.
From next season Sky Sports has exclusive coverage of SPFL fixtures, BT Sport has the deal for the Europa League and Champions League.
In the next week the media & countless ex-Rangers players will dismiss Celtic’s achievements this season, the same people who ignored the tax fraud at Ibrox and believe that the new club have won 54 titles without paying the creditors.#DontBelieveTheLIES pic.twitter.com/IiOLGnvBRC
