Scott Brown brought an extra touch to social media as he tweeted his way through a #rewatchparty of the 2018 clincher.
Faced with another blank Saturday on what was scheduled to be Scottish Cup Final day, thousands tuned in to You Tube to relive the biggest Glasgow Derby triumph of modern times.
Brendan Rodgers had already enjoyed two 5-1 victories in the fixture when Graeme Murty brought his side to the east end knowing that a home win would confirm a seventh successive title triumph.
Celtic Park was basked in a cocktail of sunshine and expectations with Brown playing a leader’s role from the centre of the park as the hoops pushed forward at every opportunity.
At half-time it was 3-0, ten minutes into the second half it was 5-0 but strangely there was no further scoring as the home fans lapped up a vintage display.
The final whistle confirmed that Celtic were the champions for the 2017/18 season, two years later it seems that Brown still gets the same thrills from reliving one of the best days this century at Celtic Park.
