Neil Lennon was at the helm when the title was won at Rugby Park in 2012, now he has the chance of becoming the first manager in Scottish football to win a 10th successive title.

Ronny Deila and Brendan Rodgers has spells in charge but if Celtic win next season’s SPFL title it’ll be the former Leicester midfielder that is the boss most closely associated with the TEN.

At the turn of the year big questions were being asked about Lennon and his squads ability to deliver a ninth title win but when football was suspended on March 13 the hoops were cruising in top gear.

A run of nine wins and a draw after the winter break in Dubai put Celtic 13 points clear at the top of the table when the SPFL voted to end the season based on average points per game.

The last three months have been surreal but the next year promises a unique place in the history books with Lennon well aware of what is at stake.

This is a generational thing. This team and certain individuals in the team have done some really special, incredible things and we want this to be another season to remember. The anticipation is palpable.

What we have to do, as a manager is keep a lid on things, get them in the best condition possible. I don’t think that they’ll need any extra motivation. Certainly to have the players and the fans backing us all the way, it’s going to be a helluva ride.

When we got the trophy for the nine I said it’s time to go for the ten and that’s exactly what we are planning on doing.
