The Daily Record has ditched a story about Graeme Murty being demoted to u-18 coach at Ibrox.
Following a couple of stories on social media Keith Jackson published the story late on Monday night with fans sending it to the top of the charts on NewsNow. At some stage however the Record decided to drop the story with the familiar: ‘Sorry… we can’t find the page that you have requested’ message appearing.

Murts as he is affectionately known, has had two stints as Caretaker Manager with Dave King highlighting the loyalty of the Reading journeyman when he spoke to shareholders at the 2018 AGM.
During his second spell in charge Murts whipped the hordes into a frenzy of expectation before a 10-man Celtic side won 3-2 at Ibrox to burst his bubble.
A month later Celtic won the title in a 5-0 Glasgow derby thrashing with the Caretaker refusing to meet the media and stepping down.
After taking charge in 2018 Steven Gerrard was highly critical of the way that Young McCrorie had been used by Murts, claiming that he should never have been used in central defence.
Peter Lovenkrands is believed to be taking charge of the Development starlets with Murts looking after the u-18s.
