Jack Hendry appears close to full fitness after posting three training videos on Instagram.

The defender had to undergo knee surgery after picking up a serious looking injury in the second game of his loan spell with Melbourne City in the A-League.

‘Knee feeling strong’ was the message as he took part in various turning exercises with the ball following his injury on February 1 against Adelaide City.

Hendry was a £1.5m signing from Dundee in January 2018, making a number of appearances, mainly at right-back as Brendan Rodgers delivered his second SPFL title.

The 25-year-old had been released by Celtic as a kid but after joining Partick Thistle he earned a move to Wigan Athletic but that didn’t work out with a move to Dundee following after loan stints at MK Dons and Shrewsbury.

Hendry is under contract with Celtic until June 2022 but it is unlikely that he has any future at the club.
