John Barnes will set the record straight on his time at Celtic when he takes part in the Celtic State of Mind podcast.
The Liverpool legend spent a highly eventful eight months in charge of Celtic that came to a sudden end following a 3-1 home defeat in the Scottish Cup from Inverness Caley Thistle.
After being introduced alongside Director of Football Kenny Dalglish Barnes was very much on his own for the final days as a divided dressing room collapsed against the First Division side.
Prior to the Celtic job the former England winger had a playing contract at Charlton with his lack of experience cruelly exposed at Celtic with his cause not helped by Henrik Larsson’s leg break.
Listen tonight to the Celtic podcast then let me know… twitter isn’t a place for a meaningful debate https://t.co/wog8MDbuko

To all celtic fans () if you’ve seen the twitter debate by me and others yesterday and are interested in hearing a more comprehensive debate on “my time at Celtic” listen to the podcast “a Celtic state of mind tonight” where hopefully you’ll understand what I am trying to say

Yesterday Barnes was involved in a serious of embarrassing twitter exchanges with Celtic fans, it seems that 20 years later he can’t accept any blame for his own failings at the club.
Tonight’s podcast should be more illuminating than a Twitter exchange with Barnes getting the opportunity to explain his version of events.
