Training is expected to resume at Murray Park this week but there is still no sign of Alfredo Morelos being in the country.

The striker has had previous travel problems commuting from Columbia, with air travel at 1% of it’s February levels it’s not quite as easy to get on a flight to the USA then fly trans-Atlantic to London then onto a Glasgow shuttle.

Anyone arriving in the UK faces 14 days of quarantine, elite sportspeople are exempt from that rule, whether Morelos qualifies is open to interpretation.

While Celtic and Ross County returned to training last week things are very quiet at Ibrox.

No medical equipment has been brought in from South Korea with social media content limited to teasers about best in class training gear.

Since the Ibrox stars split up in March a range of wage deferrals were agreed, fortunately for the players the club had the money to sign Ianis Hagi so there shouldn’t be any problem making up the wages shortfall.

Andy Halliday, Wes Foderingham, Jordan Rossiter, Jak Alnwick and Jason Holt won’t be returning to Murray Park.
