Steven Gerrard is facing another game of Where’s Alfie as he starts preparations towards stopping 10-in-a-row.

From midnight on Sunday all visitors to the UK must go into 14 days quarantine with no sign of star striker Morelos being back in the country.

It’s three days since the Colombian used his Instagram account with no evidence of a chunky striker arriving at Glasgow or Edinburgh airports by the time the last flights touched down today. Over the last week there hasn’t even been a report of his incredible charity work in his homeland.

Morelos experienced travel problems earlier this year, returning to Glasgow a day late in February with Gerrard leaving him out of the side that lost to Hearts in the Scottish Cup.

Despite their lack of testing equipment Gerrard’s squad are due to report back for pre-season training on June 15 but it looks like they will be without their star asset.

International flights are still very limited with Morelos likely to arrive in London and have to report to an English address for 14 days before he can complete his journey to Glasgow.
