Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail has claimed that there is ‘no change’ in Fraser Forster’s situation at Southampton after rumours that the ‘keeper had arrived at Glasgow Airport.
Reports from Greece continue to claim that Celtic are in negotiations with AEK Athens over a move for Vassilis Barkas with the start of the SPFL season now less than a week away.
Forster has always been Neil Lennon’s first choice but after returning to Southampton at the end of June interest seemed to cool with reports of the player being back in contention under Ralph Hasenhuttl following his impressive form with Celtic.
Big Fraser Forster has been flown into Glasgow tonight and touched down in Glasgow at 8pm tonight .

With no mask on in the Airport picture it seems that an older image has resurfaced to build up hope among Celtic fans.
Forster has two years left to run on his Southampton contract and has to balance up the wages negotiated as an England internationalist with footballing ambitions at the age of 32.
Almost as soon as he returned to Celtic he rediscovered his top form, keeping a clean sheet at Ibrox in just his second Celtic appearance.
Against Lazio in the Europa League his performances brought comparisons with his legendary display against Barcelona but right now his career is at a cross-roads.
While Scott Bain is the only experienced ‘keeper at Celtic there will be speculation over another return for Forster but that will be killed off if/when Barkas or AN Other appears holding a Celtic jersey or scarf after signing up.
