Patrice Evra didn’t hesitate.
The legendary French defender spent more than a decade at the top of the European game with Manchester United, Juventus and Marseilles on his CV.
During a video Q and A session he was asked about the best Champions League atmosphere that he had ever encountered. After a brief moment to draw across his experiences the answer was obvious.
Celtic. And for a former Manchester United player he won’t earn many Brownie Points for admitting that he had Goosebumps when the fans sung You’ll Never Walk Alone, also an anthem of despised rivals Liverpool.

Evra was a late substitute the night in 2006 that United lost 1-0 to a stunning free kick from Shunsuke Nakamura, taking it in from the bench and warming up on the touchline.
Alex Ferguson was able to name Edwin van der Saar, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo in his side but they left Glasgow pointless as Celtic qualified for the knock out phase of the Champions League with a match to spare.
Evra was at Old Trafford from 2006-2014 before moving on to Juventus.
