Some Celtic fans could be allowed to watch the home match against Livingston inside Celtic Park.

At the Scottish Parliament today the First Minister updated various aspects of Lockdown legislation.

From September 14 limited numbers will be able to return to sports stadia with Livi due to visit the champions five days later.

Celtic are back in action on Saturday away to Dundee United as Neil Lennon’s side get back into domestic action following the Boli Bolingoli day trip that resulted in two matches being postponed.

That incident is hanging over the club who could face an SPFL punishment with the player likely to be suspended.

Peter Lawwell is reported to have been pushing to allow fans back on a test basis, after today’s announcement clubs will be able to firm up their plans with season ticket holders the priority.
