Tom Rogic’s likely departure sees another key member of the Invincible squad move on with those left behind from the 2016/17 season struggling to raise a 5-a-side team!

After two seasons of diminishing appearances it looks like the Australian is on his way to Qatar although there is some claims of interest from Brighton.

Rogic did score the iconic goal of the Invincible Season but it was one of many that season as he made his presence felt after being not much more than a squad member in previous seasons.

His exit leaves Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and James Forrest as the only playing survivors currently in Neil Lennon’s plans. Leigh Griffiths is looking increasingly removed from the first team. Technically Tony Ralston, Jack Aitchison and Mikey Johnston are in the Invincible squad with a couple of competitive appearances.

John Kennedy, Stevie Woods and Tim Williamson remain of the backroom staff but the image above from just over three years ago highlights just how quickly football changes.
