Boli Bolingoli has been served with a fixed penalty for breaking Quarantine regulations after returning from Spain.

The Celtic defender faces far tougher action from his club but after returning from his day trip to Spain he’ll have had to fill in paperwork relating to the Quarantine regulations.

Those regulations have clearly been broken multiple times by reporting to work with Celtic now discovering the extent of the fall out.

This afternoon the SPFL postponed Celtic’s next two matches with next Tuesday’s squad at the mercy of the Scottish Government.

It can take 11 days before symptoms show up, Bolingoli has twice tested negative since returning from Spain but it won’t be until August 15 that Celtic can be certain that the player is medically in the clear.

Celtic are conducting an internal investigation into the players’ actions with the club releasing a statement late this morning.
