Moi Elyounoussi and Kris Ajer bounced back from their Euro 2020 play off defeat to Serbia to help Norway crush Romania 4-0 last night.
Erling Haaland was the star of the show with a hat-trick against the highly rated Romanian’s who included Ianis Hagi in their side.
Elyounussi played behind Haaland rather than wide on the left which will bring Neil Lennon some cheer as he weighs up his striking options for Saturday’s Glasgow derby.
Losing at home to Serbia was a massive blow to the Norwegians knowing that the winners would face serial flops Scotland or Israel for a place in Euro 2020.
Last night’s win lifted Norway above Romania to join Austria at the top of their Nations League group with six points from two matches, earlier in the group Norway had won 5-1 away to Northern Ireland.
On Wednesday Norway host Northern Ireland before Ajer and Elyounoussi return to Scotland to prepare for the first Glasgow derby of the campaign.
? Kristoffer Ajer and Mohamed Elyounoussi start for Norway.
Best of luck, Bhoys! ??? https://t.co/FIMyF81EBp
