Celtic have completed the signing of Diego Laxalt on a season long loan from AC Milan.
The Uruguayan completes Neil Lennon’s transfer activities by providing a fresh option on the left hand side with Laxalt comfortable playing as a wing back.
Boli Bolingoli’s unexpected trip to Malaga at the start of August left Lennon with a problem to solve with Celtic heavily linked with Charlton’s Alfie Doughty before attention switched to Serie A.

Laxalt’s career hasn’t kicked on after moving from Genoa to AC Milan following the World Cup Finals in Russia, last season he was sent out on loan to Torino.
With just three appearances on the bench this season without getting on the park match fitness will be the priority for Lennon and his backroom team.
It would be asking a lot for the 27-year-old to be involved in the Glasgow derby on October 17 or the Europa League tie with AC Milan five days later but the SPFL match at Aberdeen on October 25 should be a realistic target for his Celtic debut.
