Following another window of constant speculation from Scottish sources and Colombian radio stations it looks like Alfredo Morelos will be remaining at Ibrox.
Since a bid from a mystery Chinese club in January 2018 Morelos Bingo has been a constant feature of every transfer window.
Last December Steven Gerrard and Dave King both announced that they would turn down offers of £40m for the Colombian- after scoring in two SPFL matches in 2020 those quotes look even more ridiculous than when they first appeared.
Lille have been the main source of speculation during this window with regular mentions for Porto and Fiorentina, virtually nothing about offers surfaced in France, Portugal and Italy other than second hand reports quoting the Scottish sources.
Since his £1m move from HJK Helsinki in 2017 Morelos has signed two contract extensions with his current Ibrox deal running until 2023.
Rangers rejected a loan offer from a Serie A side for Alfredo Morelos over the weekend, @TheAthleticUK understands.
The loan fee is believed to have been less than €2m and came within an option to buy, but that was also less than what Lille had offered.https://t.co/QJT9rXdb3j

As I said this morning, Morelos looks guaranteed to remain a Rangers player.
After Lille couldn’t agree a deal they’ve had to back off due to FFP, while other interested clubs haven’t been willing to pay near what Rangers want.
