News about Laxalt emerged from Italy last night with other reliable sources confirming the move during the course of the day.
The Uruguayan internationalist spent last season on loan at Torino but has yet to play any football this term with just three appearances on the AC Milan bench this term.
Since the loan departure of Boli Bolingoli, Lennon has been looking for a left sided option to compete with and provide back up to Greg Taylor.
It looks like that gap in the squad will be filled before midnight today with Odsonne Edouard, Kris Ajer, Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham remaining at Celtic with just under two years remaining on their contracts.
