There was a very audible roar at McDiarmid Park yesterday when Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring for Celtic.

Clearly the goal meant the world to the player, his team-mates and the coaching staff as two more precious points were secured after 90 minutes of frustration.

Scott Brown was central to the celebrations, picking out Hatem Abd Elhamed for his delivery after some nifty work from Kris Ajer, perfectly captured by Celtic’s Unique Angle camera. The captain was first on the scene to congratulate Griffiths on his scoring return after seven months out of action.

The camera captures the full extent of Liam Gordon’s attack on Patryk Klimala. It was late, dangerous and deliberate, born out of frustration over losing a point minutes before. Anyone doubting whether it was a goal scoring opportunity need only look at the 10 seconds that followed the attack on the Celtic substitute, Gordon was booked by referee Nick Walsh.
