Albian Ajeti looks on course to given Neil Lennon striking options for the Glasgow derby in nine days time.

The striker injured a hamstring scoring against Hibs on September 27 with that type of injury normally meaning a four to six week absence.

Ajeti’s injury seemed to be picked up quickly with Neil Lennon sounding confident about the former West Ham striker being back in training early next week.

Using his Instagram account Ajeti posted a short video clip of him working in the gym at Lennoxtown as he looked out on his non international team-mates at work.

With Odsonne Edouard an obvious doubt having Ajeti available to start the derby clash would be a big bonus for Lennon.

Leigh Griffiths and Patryk Klimala came off the bench to score in the 2-0 win away to St Johnstone but, like Ajeti, neither of the goal-scorers has completed a 90 minutes this season.
