One Celtic podcast has had their patience rewarded with Diego Laxalt expected to join the hoops before midnight.
The AC Milan defender is believed to be undergoing a medical ahead of completing a season long loan to fill Celtic’s left sided vacancy.
Last summer the departure of Kieran Tierney seemed inevitable to leave a massive gab in the Celtic side.
Laxalt had endured a difficult season at AC Milan after moving from Genoa with The Celtic Wray Podcast suggesting a move for the Uruguayan as a replacement for KT.
@ClydeSSB I know about Laxalt. Left sided player who mainly plays LB for Uruguay. Fast, aggressive, technically good, made the 2018 WC team of the tournament.
I suggested last summer Celtic should plough half the KT money on him last year.

Laxalt spent last season out on loan at Genoa with just three visits to the bench this season without making an appearance for AC Milan.
His match fitness will clearly be an issue for Celtic to work on, especially with Celtic’s next two fixtures the Glasgow derby followed by a visit of Laxalt’s old team-mates at AC Milan for the Europa League opener.
